Adventure SafarisDay 1: 09: 30hrs Depart from our Nairobi office for a journey south along the Rift Valley. Picnic at Narok and then climb the western wall entering Hemingways Country “Serengeti Plains”. Arrive Masaai Mara in the early evening with a game drive enroute or if time permits a full game drive of 2hrs. Meals and overnight at the camp/lodge. Day 2: Full day game viewing with picnic lunch across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The Masaai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lion, leopard and cheetah. It also has numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife found in Kenya. Meals and overnight at the camp/lodge. Day 3: An early morning game drives at 0630hrs. After breakfast depart to Nairobi with picnic lunch enroute arriving late afternoon or early evening. Day 1: 09:30 hrs Leave Nairobi and drive south through Masaai country via Namanga on the Tanzania boarder with picnic lunch enroute. On arrival set up camp or check in a lodge and time permitting proceed for a game drive which provides a chance to see Rhino, Lions, Giraffes ,Elephants and other animals with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain providing a beautiful back drop .Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge. Day 2: 06: 30hrs Proceed for an early game drive then return to the camp/lodge for full breakfast. Further game drive after breakfast until lunch hour. Meals at the lodge /camp. Relax in the tent or swimming pool after lunch.
Day 3: An early morning game drive, then full breakfast. Leave after breakfast for another game drive with picnic lunch on your way back to Nairobi. Day 1: Nairobi- Masaai Mara 0930hrs.Drive through lush Kikuyu farmland to the edge of the Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masaai Mara Game Reserve Picnic lunch is served en-route. The Masaai Mara adjoins Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. The reserve is famous for its Black-Manned Lion and yearly migration of wildebeests and Zebras. Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Gazelle, Leopard and Giraffe are also found here. Dinner and overnight at the camp /lodge. Day 2: Masaai Mara A full day spent viewing and exploiting this spectacular park. All the big five can be seen .Masaai Mara is also famous for its bird life. Meals and overnight at the cam/lodge. Day 3: Masaai Mara / Nakuru After breakfast leave for L.Nakuru. Lunch enroute arriving in time for a game drive at 1600hrs to 1800hrs. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp Day 4: L. Nakuru / Nairobi Spend the morning watching and photographing birds and wild animals in the park. Depart after lunch for Nairobi stopping at L.Naivasha for boat riding to the crescent Island (optional, cost direct) or visit the Crater Lake .Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon. NB: Extra night can be added at the Mara to make 5 days. Day 1: Nairobi- Masaai Mara 0930hrs.Drive through lush Kikuyu farmland to the edge of the Rift Valley. Day 5: L Nakuru / L. Naivasha Early morning game drive at 0630hrs to 0830hrs. Breakfast then leave for L.Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at the camp Rest of the afternoon at leisure, boat riding or a nature walk to the Crater Lake. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge. Day 6: L.Naivasha/Nairobi/ Amboseli After breakfast leave for Amboseli through Nairobi. Lunch at Namanga boarder. Arrive Amboseli in time for an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Full day in Amboseli. Chance to see the beautiful snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro ( Africa’s highest mountain). Large herds of elephants can be seen. All meals and overnight at the lodge/camp. Day 8: Amboseli/ Tsavo West Early morning game drive. After breakfast leave for Tsavo. Arrive in time for lunch. Evening game drive at 1600hrs to 1800hrs. Dinner and overnight at the camp /lodge. Day 9: Tsavo West /Mombasa Early morning game drive. Breakfast then a visit to Mzima Springs where fish, Hippos, and crocodiles are seen swimming in clear waters. Leave for Mombasa with lunch at Voi. Arrive early evening and check in at a beach hotel or cottages. Day 10, 11, 12, & 13: Full days relaxing at the beach. Independent water sports like snorkeling, swimming, surfing and scuba diving. Day 14: Mombassa / Nairobi Full day at leisure. Transfer to the Railway station at 1800hrs to board the train at 1900hrs. Arrive Nairobi next day at 0900hrs. Day 1 - Lake Nakuru National Park Depart in Nairobi and drive, along floor of Rift Valley, with a brief stop at Thomson Falls enroute to Lake Nakuru National Park. Once referred to by Roger Tory Peterson as the "greatest bird spectacle in the world" for its seasonally large concentrations of greater and lesser flamingos, Lake Nakuru boasts some 600 bird species. It is also a designated rhino sanctuary, as well as home to other rare wildlife species. You will have an afternoon game drive in search of wild game. Day 2 - Masai Mara National Reserve A beautiful drive through Maasai country and past the extinct volcanoes of Suswa and Longonot takes us to the Masai Mara. Located on the outskirts of Masai Mara, Sarova Tented Camp, where you will stay, offers comfortable tented camping in casual deluxe style. With its beautiful grounds, lush greenery and casual elegance, optional visit to Masai villages, night game drives and nature walks can be arranged. Day 3/4 - Masai Mara National Reserve The Masai Mara Game Reserve, bordering Tanzania, is part of the vast Serengeti ecosystem. You will spend your time in this celebrated reserve searching for big predators such as lion, cheetah, hyena, and leopard, and observing the full range of plains animals. Few places on the continent of Africa or elsewhere can compare with the multitudes of wild animals found in the Mara. Day 5 - Kilanguni After an early breakfast you drive for lunch at Nairobi, Rangers restaurant, proceed southwards to Kilaguni Lodge in time for afternoon game drive. Tsavo, is one of the largest parks in Kenya measuring around 8000 square miles. Its diversity of wildlife and topography makes it a must while in Kenya. You will spend two nights here exploring this magnificent park with snows of Kilimanjaro in the distance. Day 6/7 - Amboseli National Park This morning, we depart and drive to the ecological fragile salt pan at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro that is known as Amboseli National park. Amboseli is famous for its elephant population and with Mount Kilimanjaro rising up dramatically behind the clouds is an forgettable sight. It is also known for its surprising diversity of habitats- swamps, bushlands, woodlands, and open plains, making it an ideal habitat for bird watching as well as big game. Day 8 - Namanga/ Nairobi You depart and drive to Namanga for drop off (for those who would like to combine with Tanzania Safari), or back to Nairobi and transferred to JKIA airport for your international flight. |
